Bear trap is the most frequently occurring alliance event in Whiteout Survival, and the most reliable way to earn essence stones and alliance tokens. To maximize your damage to the bear and ensure everyone earns more rewards, it’s crucial to use the right heroes and coordinate effectively with your alliance. Here’s everything you need to know to succeed!
Joining Rallies
When joining someone's rally, it is extremely important you use the proper heroes. The best heroes to join rallies with will depend on your state age and alliance you are part of. If you are unsure of what heroes are allowed, reach out to leadership for clarification.
How Rally Joiner mechanics work is simple. Of the 3 heroes you join a rally with, only the first hero matters. This is because only the top-right skill of the first hero is used to buff a rally. As an example, one of the top recommended heroes to join a rally with in the first slot is Jasser. This is because Jasser's top-right skill increases Damage by 25%:

Increasing Damage and Lethality is very important for everyone in the rally to earn more points. As such, heroes with top-right skills that match this criteria take higher priority.
Joining rallies can get very competitive with everyone rushing to join with all their marches. Because of this, it is vital for you to preset your squads with the proper heroes. To setup your squads, do the following:
Tap your Profile Picture
Click 'Squads'
Setup each squad by doing the following: Set heroes/troop ratio --> Click 'Save' --> Select the slot you wish to save the preset to --> Click 'Confirm'

Starting Rallies
Generally, the heroes you will want to use when starting rallies are your strongest 3 of each type (Infantry, Lancer, Marksman). It is also important that you have your best hero gear equipped on these 3 heroes as it will increase damage and points.
A common question is what are the best bear rally starter heroes and troop ratios? The below graphic will explain the best heroes and troop ratios to use based on your state's current generation. (Note that troop ratios are in Infantry/Lancer/Marksman form)

In order to make your rallies stronger and earn more points, it is important that you activate all your combat-based pet skills. This can be done easily by clicking on one of your battle pet skills and selecting 'Quick Use':

Managing Rallies
Whenever you start a rally, you are responsible for ensuring that everyone joins it with the proper heroes. One wrong hero lowers the damage and points of the rally for everyone.
There are 2 main approaches people take in regards to kicking those with wrong heroes.
Approach 1: Kick everyone with wrong heroes from rally. Simple and effective technique for everyone to quickly learn to join with proper heroes.
Approach 2: Kick only those with wrong heroes whose skills are currently impacting the rally (meaning those who join with wrong heroes whose skills aren't used are left in the rally).
For Approach 2, you must have a basic understanding of how rally mechanics work. Only the top-right skill of the first 4 heroes who join with the highest level top-right skill out of everyone in rally are used.
So, in other words, if the first 4 people who join your rally have the correct first hero with a level 5 top-right skill (max skill level), then it will not matter what hero everyone else joins with. However, if your rally currently has 4 people buffing it and their skill levels are 5, 5, 5, and 4, that means that if someone joins with a hero that has a level 5 skill, they will replace the person who joined with a level 4 skill (higher level skills take priority).
To check which heroes are currently being used, simply open your rally, click the yellow flag icon, and scroll to the bottom to see:

Leadership (R5 + R4) Responsibilities
As with all alliance-based events, the leadership of the alliance will have to organize each Bear trap.
Set Standard Event Time
The first thing your alliance will need to do is agree upon and set a standard time for the Bear trap to be repeated every 2 days. Consistency and predictability is vital for all alliance events so people know what to expect and there isn't any unexpected surprise event times that lead to frustration amongst members. If you are unsure what the best event time for your alliance is, you can create a multi-select poll with different listed times (in UTC) for people to vote on and enter their availability.
Schedule Trap Ahead of Time
Always have Bear scheduled ahead of time (do right after you finish each Bear). This is easy to do and ensures that the event will start on time instead of relying on someone to set it manually. Scheduling it ahead of time also puts it on everyone's calendars to see and sends a mail notification. You can schedule the time by clicking on the trap, selecting 'Enable' and changing it to Pre-registration with the proper event time:

Notify Everyone with Reminders
It is good practice in general for all alliance events to send reminders out to members before the start of each event to improve attendance. There are multiple avenues you can take in doing this:
Place flag label on top of trap letting everyone know what time event will start
Tag everyone in alliance chat shortly before the trap (Ex: @All Bear starts in 30min)
Tag everyone in other used channels (Such as Discord if your alliance has one)
